The welcome pack includes a Gilded Ape and a stack of 250 Fresh Bananas in the Event tab. The pet item description says it picks up items and can grow to level 3 when sufficiently fed; this guide does not establish the native loot-ownership rules.

The pet-data summary contains 155 pet items: 53 permanent and 102 timed. Its description-based growth categories are 27 growing, 99 non-growing and 29 unclassified; unclassified does not mean unable to grow.
Pet descriptions include movement, health, attack-speed, critical-rate, item-pickup and remembered-location abilities. These are item-text descriptions, not measured bonus magnitudes.
