Welcome to HermesWorld Realms. Here's your first hour. Sign in on the website and download the game for your platform. Open the launcher and press Update. The first one downloads the whole game, about twelve gigabytes. After that, it only patches what changed. Press Play, log in with your Realms account and pick a server. Click Create. Choose your race, then your class, shape your face and hair, and give your hero a name. Keep the tutorial as your starting area. In the tutorial, follow the quest markers. Press J for your quest journal. Your action bar is keys 1 to 0, and Tab targets the next enemy. When you finish, head to Pireas Harbor. It's where most players gather, with merchants, quest-givers and groups looking for one more. The town gatekeepers can teleport you between towns. F11 hides the interface. Great for screenshots. That's hour one. Next time: picking your race.

Six go in. The goddess decides who comes out. At level thirty-one, your first party dungeon opens: the Minor Asphodel Depths. Form a party from the Basic Menu, or use Party Matching on the side bar. Up to six heroes can go in. Agesiphanes, at the Propylaia, sends you in. Inside, it's just your party, and nobody from outside can follow you in. Minor runs from level thirty-one to ninety, and Intermediate from ninety-one to one hundred fifteen. Each lets you in three times a week, so plan your runs with your group. Tanks defend the front. Healers watch the party frames. Everyone else, hit what the tank is hitting.

Hero: Hero Rank +1 to +50
Every rank raises your gear limits, boosts your stats and adds experience bonuses.

Demigod to God: Divine Level 0 to 400
At Hero Rank +50 you ascend as a Demigod, then climb the Divine Levels of Apotheosis: a bonus every 10 levels.
- +20% all attack power
- +20% PvP attack
- +20% PvP defense
- +20% all abilities
Unlocked in sequence; by Divine Level 400 all four +20% bonuses are maxed.
Your gear climbs too
- Ancient gear is safe to enhance from +0 to +5: a failure there never loses the item.
- Enhancement Tickets give a 100% success rate.
- Safe Enhancement Stones add +1 and always preserve the item.
- Enhancing Ancient gear takes raw materials, generally Ichor Stones.

To join a Guild Siege, you need a guild of 30 members above level 30.

How do I get into the closed beta?
Sign up with your email. Invitations go out in waves, and signing up doesn’t guarantee a place or a date. The beta tester guide walks you through account, install and first login.
Can I play on Mac?
Mac
- Sign in, then Download for Mac.
- Open the .dmg and drag HermesWorld Realms to Applications.
- Open it from Applications. If macOS asks, click Open. If it asks to install Rosetta, click Install (one time).

Are there AI characters in the game?
Not yet. AI NPCs are coming to the beta; we’ll announce them in the Discord and on the news page when they’re playable.
Can I play in the browser?
Not yet. The browser version comes after the native Windows and Mac clients. No dates are announced.

I can’t log in to the game
Use Fix Login or reset your password. Your game login is the same username and password as your Realms account.
