HermesWorld ("HermesWorld", "we", "us") is operated by Outsourc-e. This policy explains what information we collect when you use hermes-world.ai and the HermesWorld game and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Account info — email address, username, and profile data you choose to provide when signing up.
• Sign-in identity — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, profile picture, and Google account ID via OAuth. We do not see your Google password.
• Reservations and form submissions — usernames you reserve, optional contact details you submit.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, approximate session timing.
• Device data — browser type, OS, language, device type, IP address.
• Cookies and local storage — used to keep you signed in and remember preferences.

2. How we use it

• To create and operate your account.
• To run the game, save progress, and sync state across sessions.
• To send you essential service emails (signup confirmation, password resets, important account notices).
• To improve performance, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the safety of users.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with service providers that help us operate HermesWorld:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and account storage.
• Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose to sign in with Google).
• Cloudflare — site hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection.
• Analytics tools — aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of HermesWorld or its users.

4. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

5. Security

We use industry-standard practices (HTTPS, password hashing, OAuth, role-based database access) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at hermesworldsupport@gmail.com.

7. Children

HermesWorld is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using HermesWorld you consent to that transfer.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
