Platforms

Mac: in-world play is not proven yet
The current Mac build reaches the login screen in our tests. Logging in and playing in the world on a Mac has not been tested yet.
What to do: Do not plan a Mac session yet; wait for the Mac release note.
Login screen only
Mac: sound can hang when the Mac is locked or used remotely
In one test the game stalled at startup while starting audio on a Mac that was locked and controlled through a remote-desktop session. The same setup worked earlier on an unlocked Mac.
What to do: Play at the Mac itself, unlocked. Do not play through a remote-desktop session.
Under investigation
Linux: experimental
A Linux build exists for testing. It has reached the login screen in our tests. Logging in, character select and world play have not been tested on Linux.
What to do: Linux is not part of the beta invitation. Use Windows.

Guilds

Guild founding price: to be confirmed
The price shown when you found a guild does not yet match the other in-game guild text. The final price is being decided.
What to do: You need level 30 and the guild creation quests. Check the patch notes for the confirmed price before saving up.

Chat

Whispers you receive say "To [player]" instead of "From [player]"
Incoming and outgoing whispers currently carry the same "To" label.
What to do: Read the name, not the label.

NPCs and quests

Some quest text still uses older names
A few quest dialogues name an NPC or monster differently from what you see in the world. Example: the Korykian Cave quests say "Buster" and "Urus Warrior / Urus Mage"; in game they are Chrysophon and Warrior Arktos / Arktos Mage.
What to do: Go by the quest objectives and the marker; the names in the dialogue will be updated.

Triton: the creation screen says "Tutorial Zone"
When you create a Triton, the start box says "Tutorial Zone", but you load into Triton's Birth.
What to do: Nothing to do: start your Triton quests in Triton's Birth.
Known; label fix pending
Four quest titles will be renamed
Four quests keep their current titles for now; their new names are still being approved.
What to do: The quests work normally.
Renaming pending
Two god-hunt quests have no summary text
The quest journal summary is empty for two god-hunt quests. The summary text is missing from the game files, not from your install.
What to do: Follow the objective list and the NPC dialogue.
