Terms of service

Effective 2 October 2026.

These terms apply to the HermesWorld Realms website and closed beta, operated by HermesWorld. By joining the beta or playing, you agree to them.

The closed beta

HermesWorld Realms is in closed beta. It's a work in progress, provided as is and as available to the extent applicable law allows. Features may change or be removed, the game may be offline at times, and characters, items and progress may be reset. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee an invitation or a date.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, or older if your country requires it, to join.
• Use an email address you control and keep your password private. Staff will never ask for it.
• Only use the official HermesWorld Realms website to create your account or reset your password.
• Tell us right away at support@hermes-world.ai if you think your account has been compromised.

Play fair

Follow the game rules. Don't cheat, use bots or exploit bugs, harass other players, impersonate staff or interfere with the game. If you find a bug, report it instead of using it. We may suspend or remove access for violations or to protect players and the game, and where we can, we'll tell you why.

Stream it, share it

The closed beta is NDA-free. Stream, record, post screenshots and talk about it. Just respect other players' privacy and remember it's a beta, not the final game. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve HermesWorld Realms without owing you anything.

AI characters

AI-driven characters are coming to the beta. Their replies are generated and may be wrong or inappropriate. They're part of the game, not advice. Don't share personal information with them, and report anything harmful to us.

Hermes Coins

Hermes Coins are an in-game currency for the Item Mall. They give you a limited licence to use game content. They aren't money or property, can't be cashed out, sold back or exchanged for any currency or token, and aren't an investment. Beta resets may affect balances and items. If a payment is refunded or charged back, we remove the Hermes Coins it bought. Prices are always shown before you pay.

Changes and law

We may update these terms as the beta evolves and will tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by applicable law, and nothing in them limits rights you have as a consumer where you live. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your data.
