Choose your native Alpha client. These builds connect to the HermesWorld cloud server and are intended for early founder testing. The next build ships proper Training Grounds spawn — for now expect rough edges in the starting zone.

HermesWorld native Windows client. Run HermesWorld-Setup-v1.2.exe, click through the wizard, and launch from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut. If a SmartScreen prompt appears, choose More info → Run anyway.

System requirements

NetworkInternet connection required. The preview connects to the HermesWorld cloud server.
StorageAt least 5 GB free for download, extraction, and logs.
Memory8 GB RAM recommended. Close heavy apps for best first-load behavior.
GraphicsDiscrete GPU preferred, modern integrated GPUs supported for preview testing.

Mac install

  1. Download HermesWorld-Mac-v1.2.dmg and unzip it.
  2. Drag HermesWorld into the Applications folder.
  3. Open Applications, then right-click HermesWorld → Open. If macOS warns it is from an unidentified developer, click Open (this Alpha is not notarized yet).
  4. Sign in, choose a character, and enter the world.

Windows install

  1. Download HermesWorld-Setup-v1.2.exe.
  2. Double-click the installer.
  3. If a SmartScreen prompt appears, choose More infoRun anyway.
  4. Click through the wizard — it adds a Start Menu shortcut and desktop icon.
  5. Launch HermesWorld, sign in, choose a character, and enter the world.
Alpha status: these are Alpha builds — expect rough edges. Prefer no install? Play instantly in your browser at /play/web/. On Windows a SmartScreen prompt may appear (choose Run anyway); on macOS use right-click → Open the first time.
